We, as musicians, have found an incredible amount of life and satisfaction in this type of setting. It allows us to be and express who we are.
The instruments take the leading role and the songs spring forth out of that bed of sound.  We have never rehearsed musically for these times; instead, we allow ourselves to be immersed in Him and let the sounds come forth from within.

This is the opposite of a traditional worship time where the song itself leads and the instruments follow or accompany. In this case, there is the need to rehearse songs of praise with the worship team in preparation for more structured settings. However, there has to be a place for musicians and His church to relinquish control and abandon themselves, not being concerned with anything of a logistic nature, but be completely submerged and carried away in His amazing River of Living Water!!
We cannot emphasize this enough!! The fun and adventure of being with God and spontaneously using our voices and instruments is indescribable!
The journeys of ascension into heavenly places are highly intoxicating and very addictive! Once you experience this, you will be ruined for anything else!

Equally amazing are the times when the Father is speaking to us, ministering life and grace into the very depths of our souls, or when we turn to each other and release blessing and encouragement. Thus, understanding the direction of the flow, the multi- directional agenda of the Spirit is of paramount importance!
Soaking is not a form or a certain pattern of doing things, but a meeting place were two lovers demonstrate their passion and care for each other. It is not just all about Jesus, but also about a two- way relationship with Him--a relationship that has changed the course of time and eternity!

Our desire is that you would find this release to be a helpful tool as you invest time in God's awesome Presence! May you fall in love again!!
