I wanted to take a moment this morning to thank you. I am a pastor of a small church and about a week-and-a-half ago one of the ladies in the church introduced my wife and I to your music. We are a church that desires to flow in the move of the Spirit, and this woman knew how blessed we'd be with your music. She had no idea...
A few years ago my wife and I came into an incredible trying time in our marriage that involved much hurt. We took a step back from things and I took a job to make up for the lost income.
No matter what I did (through prayer and listening to christian music) I still wrestled with thoughts of anger, and it seems my mind kept going back to those things as if they were fresh. Understand, God was at work-- and I did see these things subside somewhat. But it was never enough.
Then... we were given The Father Sings. It was a few months ago that I discovered that verse in Zephaniah that speaks of how God "will rejoice over you with singing" (3:17). That verse captivated me-- to picture that in my spirit. Well... I believe that your music was just that -- God singing over me! What it has done is healed my mind!! My mind was cleansed through your music!! For the first time in 2 years, I can say I don't wrestle with those thoughs, and the anger has completely gone away!! Thank you...
Last week we were given two more of your CDs... and Kimberly, I have to tell you... All I have listened to -- literally -- in this time is the song "Heaven's Blessing" from the We Will Run album. It has so gotten into my spirit, and I played it for the church on Sunday. Everyone was so encouraged -- it really was as though the song was for us -- NOW IS OUR TIME!
Again, thank you both for your obedience to the call on your lives. Your gifting is truly from the hand of the Father. We love you both for your willingness to step out as you do!
